Any paperwork on cash gift?
Hello. I note that there is no tax to pay on a gift of cash from overseas. However, will you require any paperwork proving the transfer of cash was a gift? What if the gift is made by a relative residing in Belarus? Are there any additional checks and/ or paperwork that is required? -
tax year for trivial benefits
Hello. The rule states that "You can’t receive trivial benefits worth more than £300 in a tax year if you’re the director of a ‘close’ company."
Does the "tax year" refer to the company's tax year or to an individual's tax year?
As these tax years are not the same.
