  • £100 penalty paid but nothing confirmed

I was given a £100 penalty for not completing my self-assessment for april 22-23 on time. This was potentially avoidable but that's besides the point, I made the payment via online banking, directly transferring the correct amount of money to the account number, sort code and payment reference I was given. This was carried out on the 31st of March and was cleared yesterday, the bank automatically knew it was an HMRC account it was being delivered to. After giving the money, though, and getting into my account, it still says I owe the £100 late fee. Is it just a matter of waiting for the information to refresh, or does it expect me to pay another £100 despite me having done what it said on the letter I received? Does it only clear once the self-assessment is finished being reviewed? Thanks
