  • Follow up from Self assessment completion

    Hi, I completed a self assessment on 18th July for 6 April 2022 - April 2023 tax year and got an initial message on the screen indicating I was owed a sum of money also that included a submission receipt with a code GDZSXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I have now been waiting for the past few months waiting for something to happen i.e like a refund and nothing has been communicated. When I go online I get asked to check the progress of the self assessment and when I put in the submission date its says it will be processed by the date in the past i.e mid August 2023. If I ring the same helpline I get referred by text back to the same online resource. Please someone tell me what I should do here or point me at a resource? I would have thought the logical thing would be to have an comms system that I can email to ask about the progress but I can't locate it thanks Adam
