A non UK resident person is taxable on savings and investment income in the UK, however, there are limits on their tax liability on savings and investment income. You can see guidance on 'disregarded income' here:

When your UK savings and investment income, exceeds £10000, you will be required to report it in a Self Assessment tax return.

When you acquired your second property, you should have confirmed within 2 years which property is to be treated as the main residence for Private Residence Relief purposes. You can see guidance here:

Where no nomination is made, relief will be available in respect of the residence which is the main residence as a matter of fact; the deemed residence is not automatically relieved. Yoiu can see the guidance here:

There is no definitive list of what is permitted to be a Capital Allowance to set against a capital gain and what is routine maintenance. You can see guidance regarding enhancement expenditure here:

If a gain does arise, then you have 60 days from the completion date to report and pay the Capital Gains Tax. At the end of the tax calculator, there is the option to register for a capital gains account, to report and pay the Capital Gains Tax.

RE: Amending Tax Return
Hi,
To amend your return, log on to your personal tax account, and click on the Self Assessment tile. You should be able to amend and update your return from where you initially filed it. You can correct a tax return within 12 months of the Self Assessment deadline for the year you filed. You can see more information here:
