If you did not sign the authortiy for the repayment to go to the thid party, contacting action fraud was the correct thing to do. It could have been that the authority for the third party to submit a claim was done online.

You can only view the last 4 tax years returns online which is back to 2019/20. If you need copies of earlier tax returns you will need to contct our Self Assessment team.
