Small query on declaring Capital Gains on an inherited property During probate, the property value was guesstimated at £110k, but after probate was issued 6 months later, the market valuation from the estate agent was £160k. The property has sold recently for £155k since being on the market. When filling in the Capital Gains form, is the market value that of probate (110k) or that of the market valuation after probate (£160k) TIA
