I hope someone can may be help me here. i am trying to register for VAT following the Gov website link but having a problem. following the link it asks me to log in to my gateway account which i do but then reports i can't register because a have a personal tax account not a business one. My main account is a personal one correct but under that account is a business one under the business tax account link which i use for self assessment i tried selecting the business tab then manage account and tried adding a Vat account from there but again when i get to the last part of selecting i don't have a Vat number yet it just again show you need a business account. Spoken to the online team and they said raise a issue with the online team which i have but thought i would ask here. I can't be the only person having this issue
