Is there a ‘qualifying recognised overseas pension scheme’ (QROPS) in Singapore? I looked at the list and there isn't any. I thought that the Singapore Central Provident Fund, the Singapore government pension agency, might be a QROPS. I am looking into transferring my UK pension to an entity in Singapore because I am no longer resident in the UK (left the UK in 2001) and permanently living in Singapore. If I cannot find a QROPS, I may have to pay 40% tax on the amounts transferred.
