I had income from rental in UK in 2023, thus I suppose to need to send the income information for the income tax. I had tried to registered for government gateway ID (in order to register for Self Assessment) but I am not able to verify as I do not have the National Insurance number nor the an UK address. (As I live outside UK). I had also tried to post the self assessment form to HRMC in Jun 2023 (and post again in Aug 2023) but still no response. Below are two issue which hinder me to report my income tax: 1. Unable to verify the gateway ID 2. Unable to get the UTR Kindly help and advise anything I could do for further processing. Thanks.
