  • High Income Child Benefit payback

Hi, For year 23/24 I was employed and earned £54,411 and I was the highest earner in the family, my partner earned less than 10k for the year. My partner received child benefit for 2 children, I went on the gov website to estimate how much child benefit I would have to pay back and it came out with £912. I have just started to fill out a self assessment online and its calculated that I owe £1368, the only extra figure that I have included in the self assessment is that I earned £410 from interest earned on savings which is the below the £500 allowance.
