Paid too much tax on a bonus
Hi my usual monthly salary is £2750 and we had a bonus for May of £9991, this obviously takes me to a higher tax bracket? I also do the payroll for my company and our software if not calculating a massive refund for June, only about £200, whereas I know it should be more, if I take my salary out for June is shows a refund of £1300 but when I put my normal monthly salary in, it only gives me a reduction on tax of £300, will this happen each month. NOTE we are changing our payroll software for June, but need to know if it calculates over the remaining months, or should it be all given back in one month? any help most appreciated.
