Hello, I was employed from June-July 2022, working more than 50% of the week from home and then went on sabbatical leave. After this I earned some money freelance, and also had property income. Can I claim the working from home allowance for the months that I was in employment? Thank you

Hello, I am a recent landlady and have queries about allowable expenses: 1. I made some changes to the boiler flu and hob to improve gas safety as recommended by the boiler engineer, before my tenants moved in but for the purposes of their tenancy (just two weeks before they moved in). Can this be added as an allowable expense? 2. Following a recent service, the gas engineer said the boiler needs to be replaced because it is over 20 years old and parts are no longer available.
