  • RE: Tax on singapore income as a UK tax resident

Thank you for the link. It looks like either one of these articles will apply and have the same effect, ie. only paying income tax in the UK. Is this reported via self assessment, and will this be the only route by which I need to inform HMRC to calculate the correct NI and income tax?
  • Tax on singapore income as a UK tax resident

Hello, I am considering accepting a fixed term (7 month) research job from a Singapore university, which will be fully remote (ie. I'll be working from home in the UK where I am a tax resident). I have read that there is an agreement avoiding double taxation between the two countries, will I be eligible for this? If so, how do I inform HMRC, calculate, and pay the appropriate income tax and national insurance? The income will exceed the UK personal allowance. Thanks, Ben
