  • Non-resident Landlord become UK tax resident

Hi there, I was a Non-resident Landlord back in 2020 and have filed 2 tax year of self-assessment via Gosimpletax (received IRmark and paid via their supplied link to HMRC) using a received UTR back then. However I have eventually settled down in UK in Fall 2022 and since then I have filed another SA1, and have appointed an accountant to file 2022/23 tax return for me electronically, in which we have also received an IRmark for the successful submission, all using the same UTR. However in early this year I have received a letter from HMRC saying that my SA1 submission was incomplete in which I have filed another SA1 online but never receive any responses thereafter. I have sent out a letter to HMRC to explain the situation but it has been 7+ months thereafter and I can still unable to see the Self-Assessment section open up for me in Government Gateway to check my tax position. With 2023/2024 SA will soon be due I would appreciate if I can get a pointer on how to reach assistances and if any further steps I need to be taken. Thanks.
