  • Let out a property while renting myself

If my husband and I buy a property together with mortgage, then we let out the property to someone. Let say we receive 1800 pounds each month. But due to mortgage, we need to repay interest to bank, say 500 pounds a month. And we need to rent another for ourseleves to live somewhere, that we need to pay 1600 pounds a month. I wonder if I can take the 1600 pounds I pay as a tax relief? Because that fact is, I didn't not earn anything, I received 1800, but need to pay out 2100 each month. In this case, do I still need to pay tax on the rental I receive?
  • Foreign company with a uk resident as director

My company is set up in Hong Kong many years ago, there are 3 directors including me, now I moved to UK and live here. I receive salary as being one of the programmer of the company, but no extra salary for being a director. Our company don't have any surplus, just enough for paying salary to employees and rent. My question is: 1. Do we need to do any corporation tax declaration as there is no surplus and it's not a uk company?2. 2. I have contributed NI through DCNI scheme for the employee's part, do i need to do any extra NI for the director's post even I didn't receive any salary on that? Thanks.
  • no proof to buy in costs

I have bought some foreign shares many years ago before I move to UK, I don't have proof (such as statements) to proof my buy in cost, how can I report the capital gain tax if I sell them now.
