  • RE: Tax on a UK Government Pension (if you live abroad)

    Hi I am retired and have a DB pension which was built up working for government from 1987-1994 then we were outsourced and transferred to 2 further private companies but doing government work. In 2022 the Pension scheme was closed. It now comes from a fund that is the responsibility of the last private company. I would like to know if this could ever be described as a government pension - as I am moving to France later and would prefer to be taxed there I am hoping not. Thanks
