Hi I borrowed some money against my previously mortgage free main residence. I then loaned this money to my limited company in order to purchase a rental property. The loan was taken out exclusively and entirely for this purpose and has been used as intended. Am I able to deduct the interest paid from my personal tax?

I am making a qualifying loan to my LTD company and plan on deducting the interest from my personal tax in accordance with HS340.
My question is about repaying the loan, does it have to be repaid in one go or can the company make monthly repayments?
