Germanhelp Paton-Phillips

I live in Germany and am taxed here on my local income, I plan to use the 25% tax free on my UK company pension. HMRC has told me no tax will be deducted when paid to a UK or German account. Does anyone knows if this counts as taxable income in Germany if there is no tax to be paid in the UK? Thanks
