Is capital gain on sale of US home before Apr. 6 subject to UK tax if move to UK after Apr. 6?
I have UK and US citizenship. I presently live in the US, and am resident in the US. If I sell my home in the US between Jan. 1, 2025 and Apr. 5, 2025, and then move to the UK on or after Apr. 6, 2025 and stay in the UK, will the capital gain on the sale of my home in the US be subject to UK tax?
