RE: Working Hours
Hi, Thank you for your response. My question is not tax related, its more related to complying with the maximum amount of hours an employee can work (i.e students) For example: A student is rostered for 17hrs of work per week (below the 20hrs/week limit) However, the same student has accumulated a travel and waiting time of 5hrs for that same week On the pay slip, this brings the total hours to 22hrs/week exceeding the 20hrs/week limit Would we be in violation of the limit? Thank you -
Working Hours
Hi there, From a care perspective, we pay rostered time (hours spent with client) and we are expected to pay travel time between clients as well as waiting time less or up to 30mins (all indicated separately on pay slip). My question is, for employees with limited hours/week (i.e 20hrs/week), does the travel and waiting time count towards their allowance? as most rostering systems only take time spent with client when calculating hours worked. Travel and waiting time are computed separately
