Self assessment tax return query
Hi, Please could you clarify when I need to notify HMRC of the interest received on my two year fixed rate bond on my self assessment tax return. The interest is paid into the bond annually, but I am only allowed to access the interest when the bond matures after two years. Therefore, do I notify HMRC each tax year that interest is paid into the bond, or only when I can access the interest once the bond has matured? Many thanks
