RE: Moved Abroad Permanently: Filling a SA109 Form or Not?
Hi I have a similar issue. I will have moved abroad half way through this current tax year. I have changed my main address on the HMRC website but maintain my old UK address as a mailing address ( Family). I 've declared low income UK Self Employment over a few years and paid Vol class 2 stamp as required. This current year I will continue to have Self employed income ( It will be a UK company) as a consultant and payments will continue to be paid in to my UK bank acct. I have no other income from abroad to declare. I intended on still completing the Self Assessment Return on line. Will this be acceptable? Sending a return and other documents by post from where I am abroad is extremely unreliable. (There is a joint taxation treaty with this country.) Your advice would be gratefully appreciated
