Hi Admin, My info: * I moved to the UK on 5 March 2022 * My birthday is on 4 March * I applied and received my NI Number on 15 April 2022 tax.service.gov.uk shows - I did not contribute enough NI for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 - these years are not full - I can opt for voluntary contributions for these 2 years Question: If I make a voluntary contribution, is 2021-2022 still counted as a qualifying year under the following situations: 1) I moved to the UK in the middle of a tax year 2021-2022 2) I'm not a tax resident for 2021-2022 due to insufficient no of days staying 3) I received my NI number in 2022-2023 4) My birthday is one day before my arrival day Which factors are crucial and which are irrelevant?
