RE: Individual Retirement Account Distribution
Thank you for your response however regrettably it doesn’t answer my question. The value of my Traditional IRA is made up of my contributions plus any gains (interest). Do I declare just the interest I have accrued or the complete sum. I.E. contributions plus interest on my return? Thank you. -

Individual Retirement Account Distribution
I am a UK resident and tax payer. Last year I took a full distribution from my US IRA account. Is it the case that I need to report any gains (interest) I made on my contributions to the IRA on a SA106 form? -
Exchange Rate
I have interest income in US dollars. Is there a defined exchange rate to convert into GB pounds or do I use the prevailing exchange rate at the time the income was paid? Thank you -
