  • Business mileage refund issue

I am employed and pay full tax via PAYE. I drive my own car for work as I am a rep and do around 25000 miles a year. My employer pays me 25p per mile. I am aware that this means anything above 10000 miles I cannot claim on. However, by my calculations, mileage up to 10000 miles I can claim the difference. This being £1700. However, for the past two years I have have refunds of £824 for 22/23 and £676 for 23/24. I believe I am owed around £1900, or am I wrong?
