Hello I’ve read all the CGT guidance but it does not mention anything on double taxation relief. It’s a lot of money to pay twice even though I might be able to claim it back after I’ve paid. Is there any guidance regarding double taxation relief on CGT as I’ve already paid in India.

Hello, I live in the UK and a British citizen. My parents passed away in India and they have never lived in the UK. I sold their property in June and paid Capitals Gain Tax in India of 23.92%. Is there any tax due in UK? Thanks
