    Hi, My wife is unable to set up a Government Gateway account because she doesn't have a credit history in the UK. We moved abroad 27 years ago. The other option - using driving license involving facial recognition - isn't viable because the app/software just doesn't seem to work, HMRC IT support hasn't been able to help us. Is there any other way of setting up a Government Gateway account? thanks.
