  • Self Assessment Online Access

    When I sign into my gateway account & select my business account it won’t allow me to complete a self assessment as it says I previously registered to do this on a different account. I no longer have any records of this as I haven’t haven’t been required to send a return for many years. When I’ve phoned to try and retrieve this account information I was asked to provide the dates and amounts stated on my last assessment. I didn’t know this information as I wouldn’t retain records this far back. HMRC are unable to provide the details I need to log in and make a self assessment. I appear to be trapped in a loop now! a I tried to phone and obtain a paper copy only to be told I need to complete it online!
