  • Taxed on Income before arriving to UK on Youth Mobility Visa

Hi there, I arrived in the UK in late August. I am travelling here for the time being on the Youth Mobility Visa. I have no job. I'm living off my savings. I completed the self assessment and it says that I do not need to submit taxes since I am not making an income here. However, I need to know if I need to pay taxes (here in the UK) on my income from Canada that I made before I arrived here. Specifically, "Are you subject to income tax in that country on your world income (total income from inside and outside Canada)?" Thanks in advance
