VAT refund for goods exported to Australia
I am a tourist considering a large purchase which will be immediatley exported to my home in Australia. The retailer has said they will not provide a zero tax rating and will charge VAT but are willing to provide a "VAT receipt". Is there any way that i can claim the VAT back from the Government in this scenario?
