I have studied the pages very carefully on paying voluntary topup contributions from abroad. From my reading I understand that if you pay through online or telephone banking all you need is your NI Number. In the reference you put your NI number followed by 'IC' then your surname and initial. e.g. XX123456XICBLOGGSF. Where XX123456X is your NI Number. Does anyone know if this is correct?
