I have received a notice to make a Self Assessment payment on account on 31 July for year 22/23. Due to significant repairs on my rental property I do not expect to make a profit and not to have to make a SA payment for 22/23. If I do not pay the requested payment on account on 31 July I will receive a late payment fine. Will this fine be cancelled when I submit my return in the Autumn showing no SA payment is due?
