When we pay CGT on selling an overseas property
hi, we're selling a 2nd home abroad shortly and keen to pay the CGT before the proposed Autumn budget 2024. If we sell the house in September 2024, can we pay the CGT right away or am I right in thinking we can report it straight away but it won't be processed until January 2026? (ie when we submit our 24 /25 self assessment tax return). In that case there is no way of paying it straight away? (if we want to avoid any increased rates) Many thanks
