  • paid NI on Medical benefits in error

    My employer set up my medical benefit which was being payrolled as a taxable and NI able element. Therefore over four years i have been paying NI on this in error. My employer have done earlier year updates for each of the affected years, for myself and the other employees affected by this, but as yet we have not heard anything about it being refunded. When the employees phone the employees helpline it isn't visible, and when our employer rings their helpline all they can say is that the annual totals have been updated. The earlier year updates were done in October 2022.
