Why am I being asked for repayment in January when it should be handled through my tax code?
I completed my 2023-24 self-assessment in summer 2024 and it showed that I owed some tax. The system told me that unless I asked to repay it directly, the repayment would be collected by adjusting my tax code. Now I'm getting repeated emails asking me to pay the charge by the end of January. Have I missed something?
