RE: Clarification on Tax Obligation for Interest Income and Offshore Accounts
Dear HMRC I am considering the possibility of depositing a sum of £76,000 in an 'offshore account' probably next year 2025. In view of today's budget - Wednesday 30th October 2024,two questions; 1) - will there be any new regulations or guidance that will apply to such a deposit from the summer of 2025? 2) - what are the existing regulations etc regarding such a deposit sum please?
