working out capital gains for U.S shares
Hi, If i have bought 6 costco shares @ 543.39 U.S Dollars the total amount is 3260.34 Dollars Clientnt Settlement Currency @ rate:1.31860 2,472.58 GBP Commission 7.99 GBP TRADING CREDIT 7.99GBP Later if 10 coscto chares are bought at 490.20 U.S Dollars the total is 4902 US Dollars Client Settlement Currency @ rate:1.00000 4,902.00 USD Commission 0.00 USD Now if i sell 16 Shares of Costco @ 713.59 US Dollars the total is 11 417.44 Client Settlement Currency @ rate:1.30108 8,775.38 GBP Commission 3.99 GBP After commision 8,771.39 GBP Could you please advise how i can calculate capital gains, as the exchange rate is different each time?
