RE: NL Tax Return - social security
So in applying for cover in the EU, I should say that I work abroad even if I don't work abroad in order to get the certificate of coverage and S1? -
NL Tax Return - social security
I have a resident permit for Netherlands (NL). I work, live and pay all my tax in the UK. I am in the Netherlands most weekends, and have place of residence in both countries. Under double tax treaty I am tax liable in UK. However, with the NL resident permit I need to submit an NL tax return. As part of completing the return I need to submit an S1 form or an S072 form. The HMRC website says I only need this if I work in NL, but my NL Tax Return asks for this, so I am unsure what to do. Could HMRC issue a certificate of coverage, or an S1 or S072 form for me even if I don't work in NL?
