Could you please advise if I need to pay any capital gain tax for shares in the States which I am going to sell towards the end of this year? I have been living in the UK for over 2 years (indefinite leave to remain status) and will continue to stay In the UK and in the foreseeable future. I am retired. These shares I own were purchased before I moved to the UK. Does UK has double tax treaty with the States? Thank you. JJ
