Is VAT charged for goods shipped from outside UK and sold to customers outside UK?
We are a UK company, and buying alcohol finished goods from Mexico (exported goods so no Mexican VAT charged). The goods are shipped to Netherlands and kept under bonded warehouse so outside excide duty and I guess VAT regime. Is VAT charged on our sale invoice for those goods kept under bonded warehouse in Netherlands and sold to EU customers? Do we need to register a EU VAT registration?
