  • RE: Probate

Hi, my mum is a UK resident who owns 50% of a property in Spain with her now deceased partner, also a UK resident, who owned the other 50%. The executors of the deceased refused to cooperate with mum regarding the details of his will so mum couldn't sell the property when he died. Mum has now lost capacity and the issue has been passed to me as mum's POA. The CoP in the UK have ordered me to manage/dispose of this property in Spain in mum's best interests. The agency in Spain say nothing can be done with the property until full ownership has been established, and to do this they need to know who the deceased 50% was passed to. I need help to know what to do when the executors are not cooperative. There is no sign of the will online, I have searched via the gov's probate search with the exact details of his death. Thank you
