RE: Singapore Resident
Thank you for the link - I had previously gone through this material but hadn't found a clear answer - I've gone through again, in particular the DT Agreement info, and I believe that no action is required on my part. -
RE: Singapore Resident receiving royalties via UK Performing Rights Org
Thank you for the reply. Can I check on the exact meaning of 'may' - does it mean something like 'the tax authorities are enabled to tax and will do so', or 'may or may not' with some form of qualifications to the statement with scenarios - Option 1 seems like rather vague wording, but I can't see any further info in the treaty docs that would imply option 2 is correct -
UK State Pension, residing in Singapore
I am Resident in Singapore which has a DT agreement with UK, I am now claiming my UK State Pension. Do I need to take any action with regards to HMRC eg do I need to acquire Nil Tax Rate for this pension and if so how should I go about it? -
Singapore Resident receiving royalties via UK Performing Rights Org
I am UK citizen, resident in Singapore and will potentially be receiving royalties for music compositions which will come via my PRO (Performing Rights Organisation). As the organisation (PRS for Music) is a UK organisation, do I need to take any steps regarding personal tax - do I for example need to achieve 'NIL' tax rate for this income stream and if so how do I go about it? Thank you. -
Singapore Resident
I am resident in Singapore and claiming UK State Pension. There is DT agreement between Singapore and the UK. As my state pension originates in the UK, do I need to take any steps to keep my tax status 'correct' - for example, do I need to get 'NIL' tax rate for this pension from HMRC and if so, how do I go about it?
