Hi, - I am a dual citizen of Australia and the UK though in Australia I am now classed as a foreign resident and pay tax there - I am a co-director of a business in Australia which is only registered in Australia and pay business tax there. - I am paid a minimum annual wage of £1,500 per year which is payed and taxed in Australia - We have no physical premises, uk bank accounts and all activity is undertaken through the Australian office. There is no active selling taking place from within the UK Based on the above information, do I need to register as a Director with the HMRC as there no intentions to operate the business out the UK, its via circumstance that I now reside in the UK. Thanks in advance

Hi

There would be no requirement for you to register in the UK as the director of an Australian company.
Please have a look at the guidance on being a company director at Being a company director.

Thank you
