Hi there, I have a trading loss of 3212 to carry forward from a previous year. Even though I've entered this into my company tax return, the software does not seem to be deducting it from this year's profits. Anyone know why this might be? My best guess is that I've entered the figure in the wrong way on the Trading Losses page. There are lots of different boxes on there relating to when the loss was made, how much you want to bring forward, etc, and I fear I may have entered the figure into the wrong box. The problem is that it's not at all intuitive to work out which would be the right box. The entry I ended up making was somewhat after trial and error and just happened to be a combination that didn't bring up one of a series of different error messages I encountered. Any help would be welcome!

Hi impossibleobject,
Losses carried foirward should be entered into box 285.
Please refer to the online guidance here:- Completing your Company Tax Return with attention to the section: Deductions and reliefs.
Thank you.
