CIS refund

Corporation tax is due imminently I’m still waiting for my CIS refund which I have used previous couple of years, why is it taking so long. Most of it is due back to Hmrc in corporation tax anyway. I’ve gone Gross going forward as it’s such a pain waiting but doesn’t help this year.

How do you chase these refunds? Says to call CIS helpline i do that go to refunds, and the automated messages says thanks goodbye??
