UK Innovatiobn grants

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to ask if a company receive a grant of £50,000 from UK innovation? Does the grant of £50,000 subject to corporation tax? I know we can also claim RDEC and which is taxable. Thank you. Kind regards Connie
