Hello I registered as self-employed back in June 2023 and I was able to get the 30 hours childcare code. I am due to update the details of my childcare account in April 2024. I don't think my income in the coming 3 months is going to meet the threshold but understand from the website that there should be a 12 months exemption? Would I have to start paying for the extra 15 hours in June/July or from the start of that term which is in April? On the other hand, I am also looking to get another job which if successfully would bring my income up above the threshold - then should I say I am expected to earn enough when updating the details on my account? Many thanks in advance.
