Hello, I hope you are doing well. I have received a few months ago a cheque for a corporation tax refund of my business that I have already closed. Since I closed the business bank account, can I get it reissued in my personnal name instead of the company name? Where can I send a letter to make the request? Many thanks

Hi,
The general guidance for a closed bank account is for the refund to be returned to us to allow it to be re-issued.
However if the company is dissolved, we cannot issue another refund.
All assests of a disolved business become property of the crown.
I would suggest you contact us in writing detailing your specific circumstances.
