I registered as a HMRC tax agent for my accounting practice over 3 months ago via letter. I have had no response or confirmation that my form was received. Apparently the only way to chase is to send another letter, which I did 3 weeks ago and still nothing. I have tried calling HMRC (various departments as there is no number specific to this), I have tried raising a complaint (told me to try a more relevant department), and I have tried the online help. I am totally stuck. I launched my new accounting practice in April and have barely had any work as it all involves HMRC submissions and i'm so disheartened. How can I get help to find out whats happening? If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks Holly

Unfortunately the Customer Forum is unable to help with complaint queries.
You can chase the progress of your complaint by contacting the Central Agent Authorisation Team or alternatively you can contact the Agent Account Managers to see if they can interevene with that business area on your behalf to resolve the issue.
