Hi, I wonder if this is applicable essentially I made my company last year but up until dissolving it, I have not traded with the company I created. I have just received a letter about paying corporation tax even though I have dissolved it and the request for my company to be struck off has already been accepted on the day I requested it. I have also made the online request to tell HMRC that my company is now dormant: Will I still have to pay corporation tax even though I legally have no company and no trading happened?

Hi,
If the company has been dissolved at Companies House, there will be no filing requirement for a CT600 Corporation Tax return.
Dissolved companies no longer have any filing obligations as the company record will no longer exist.
Thank you.
